Simpson County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the availability of its scholarship program for the year 2021. The Farm Bureau is willing to contribute to the education of the students of their community. For providing support to the students, Simpson County Farm Bureau is offering two scholarships to the high school seniors for the current school year. This scholarship is available to the children of Kentucky Farm Bureau members. Simpson County Farm Bureau aims to assist students with their plans.
For this purpose, they’ve come forth with this scholarship through which they’re planning to provide financial support to the students. With the amount of scholarship, students can carry out their educational expenses. This will help them reduce their overall expenditure and thus make them burden-free. Without any burden, students can concentrate on their education and pave paths for their future.

Who May Be Eligible
To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale or a minimum of 23 ACT score.
- Be the child of a Kentucky Farm Bureau member.
- Finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship.

Supporting Documents
- Applicants must submit an official transcript of their high school grades, including their ACT or SAT scores.
- Candidates have to attach an official copy of their second-semester senior schedule.
- Two letters of recommendation describing characteristics such as leadership, citizenship, and maturity of a student must be attached with the application. One letter must be from a high school official (e.g. teacher, principal, guidance counselor) and one from a non-relative.
- Applicants must submit two essays. Essay 1 must answer the question: “Who is my role model and why?” Essay 2 must answer the question: “Why am I pursuing higher education?”Essays should be 300 words or more.
- Fellows must answer the question: “Do you plan to work a paying job while you are in school? Why or why not?”
Benefits
The Simpson County Farm Bureau Federation will award two scholarships for high school seniors for the current school year. These scholarships are applied to tuition, housing, books, and other educational expenses. Scholarship award payments will be made directly to the educational institution of the winners choice. These scholarships will reduce the financial burden of the students.
